Team Manager Duties

The team manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the team throughout the season. Acting as the primary liaison between coaches, players, parents, and the association, the manager helps coordinate schedules, team communications, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include organizing team meetings, distributing practice and game schedules, and ensuring all necessary paperwork, such as player registrations and medical forms, are completed and submitted on time. Additionally, the team manager works closely with the coaching staff to provide logistical support, such as securing travel accommodations for tournaments and managing game-day preparations.

Beyond administrative tasks, the team manager fosters team cohesion by facilitating communication and ensuring all players and families are informed and engaged. This may involve organizing team events, managing fundraising efforts, and handling uniform and equipment distribution.

They also serve as the point of contact for referees, league officials, and opposing teams, helping to ensure games run smoothly. By taking on these responsibilities, the team manager allows coaches to focus on player development and game strategy, creating a well-organized and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
