2025-2026 Rock Ridge Youth Hockey Association Required Volunteer Shifts Information
At Rock Ridge Youth Hockey Association (RRYHA), we are a community-driven program that thrives on teamwork—on and off the ice! To keep our hockey program running smoothly and create the best experience for our players, we ask each family to contribute by completing required volunteer shifts. This program helps share the workload and ensures our association continues to grow and succeed.

To participate, families are required to provide a volunteer deposit check, which will be collected at fundraiser pick-up nights.
- Checks should be made payable to: Rock Ridge Youth Hockey Association or RRYHA
Volunteer Shift Deposit – What You Need to Know:
- ✅ One Player in RRYHA → Provide one $500 check
- ✅ Two or More Players in RRYHA → Provide two $500 checks

Shifts will be tracked through TBD!
- Visit www.rryha.org and click on the “TBD” tab to sign up for available shifts.
- New shifts will be added throughout the season—stay tuned for email updates!
- Volunteer requirements apply to all levels (boys and girls) except Junior Gold.
- Families are welcome to work extra shifts or even gift their completed shifts to another family.
📢 Important: Players will NOT be fully registered until a volunteer deposit check is received.

What Counts as a Required Volunteer Shift (DIBs)?
- Tournament & Post-season Shifts
- You can claim shifts for any game, not just your child’s tournament or games!
- Canteen Shifts (Regular Season, Tournaments, & Wilderness Games)
- Like tournament shifts, you can claim these for any game, not just your child's.

What DOES NOT Count Toward Required Volunteer Shifts?
- Regular Season Game Shifts
- These will NOT be tracked through the DIBs system. Instead, each team is responsible for ensuring their own game shifts are covered.
- Team Managers and parents will work together to assign and fill these shifts.
- We encourage everyone to do their part during their child's regular season games!
